I assume that the main focus is on the Undergraduate Education. Certainly the Graduate education will be affected, but I am assuming that the Undergrad is the main focus

Given that and the acknowledgement by President Reif at the first Webex session with alumni that only Half of a student's education (or less) is in the classroom, and his expression of how important the clubs and athletic activities are for the undergraduate, I find it Appalling that the membership of these committees does not seem to include a single person who represents
- Student clubs and organizations
- DAPER (Deparment of Athletics, Physcial EDUCATION, and Recreation)

Note that the word EDUCATION appears in the middle of DAPER as it is an Essential part of the MIT education. Mind and Body. That is the essence of development.

Please, bring people who are First dedicated to the many clubs, organizations and DAPER activities on campus into these committees to represent the other Half of the undergraduate education on the MIT campus.

Thank you.

P.S. These activities are also Very important for the graduate students, but are Essential for the undergraduates. And currently are Underfunded.
