The access to world class faculty was what made my undergraduate experience at MIT one of the best experiences of my life. The faculty were not only world class researchers but educators. They were always accessible and welcoming. The face to face interactions, discussions and office hours were key. Don't take that away, do what ever you can to nurture that access. The willingness of the faculty to give of their time made me more inspired to work hard and also to help other students with tutoring.

While online tools are helpful, the should never replace the one-on-one interaction with the faculty and staff at MIT. The professors really enjoyed meeting with students and this created a comfortable environment in which to ask questions and not be afraid.
