Everyone knows that the old, single-pane windows in the main group are energy sinks, yet replacement is not cheap. I would like to propose a fund raising campaign to fix this. At Brown University, sections of the fence surrounding the campus are named for a particular class that donated enough to fund the fence+. Here, each new window could have plaque designating the class that donated at least 50% of the window replacement cost. The cost in energy saved would make up for the rest if you could get the initial investment.
