I think that having live lectures is becoming more obsolete. I think the most valuable learning experiences happen when professors, TA's and students are interacting directly. Lectures can be recorded and put online. Then instead of lecturing, professors can have more sessions where they can answer questions, solve problems, and hold discussions.
